Donor Confidence Report

Donor confidence remains relatively unchanged since October 2009.  Campbell Rinker’s Donor Confidence Report includes a thorough analysis of what to expect from individual donors in the months ahead.

Throughout 2009, Campbell Rinker released six editions of its respected Donor Confidence Report, a bi-monthly briefing on giving from the donor’s perspective. We survey hundreds of donors every two months, asking for timely answers to some very pointed questions about their giving intentions, their outlook on the nation’s economy, and their optimism for the future.

Campbell Rinker’s Donor Confidence Report provides a crucial barometer of donor perceptions and attitudes about the economy. Individual donors comprise 75% of the giving in America – providing $229 billion in 2007 according to Giving USA.

Fundraisers cannot plan accurately without knowing how John and Jane Donor feel about giving in today’s atmosphere. Advisors can’t advise without that information, either.

The report is a synopsis of key donor trends and attitudes that are essential to nonprofit executives and advisors.

Order the latest edition of the report for $165 at the link below, and should receive it in the mail within a week of ordering. You may also subscribe to six issues for a discounted price of $150 per issue, or $900 annually. If the first report doesn’t appeal to you, we’ll refund the full amount.

If you'd like us to invoice you for an annual subscription so you may pay by check, please request this HERE (single-issue purchases only available using Google Checkout above).

A few of the questions addressed in our ongoing donor confidence survey:

  1. To what degree do donors see the economy improving, declining or staying the same over the next six months?
  2. How much more or less do they see themselves giving to their preferred charitable sectors?
  3. What economic drivers – job loss, expenses, home values, etc. – fuel the giving behavior donors expect to follow?
  4. How do donors vary in their attitudes about giving by demographics and giving preferences?
  5. Where does Donor Confidence stand now, compared to earlier this year? What are the indications for the future? How should nonprofits react?

Briefing Report benefits:

  3. Add your own input to the briefing report prior to distributing to key readers.
  4. If you’d like, we will field the Donor Confidence Survey to a random 1,000-name panel of your donors by email and compare the results to the latest in the Donor Confidence Report. The charge for this option is $750.
  5. We can also do the same by phone. We will field the Donor Confidence Survey to 100 of your donors by phone and compare the results to the latest in the Donor Confidence Report for $2,000.

I think Dirk Rinker could be the man to take on the whole firmament of lapsed and lapsing donors, and win. Dirk has an advantage over the rest of us, and it’s based quite simply on knowledge.
Ken Burnett, Chairman, Burnett Associates Group, Ltd.

Campbell did a fantastic job of digging into the reasons behind the reasons! Thank you for partnering with us.
Wayne Tesch, Founder, Royal Family Kids Camps
