Duncan Millar, Associate
Duncan joined Campbell Rinker in 2007. Previously, Duncan launched the marketing research department at an international building industry trade association. He brings to the firm 18 years of experience in business development and international marketing, including 11 years in marketing research with organizations that include Maritz Research and his own research consulting firm. Duncan has extensive experience working with American and foreign government agencies. In addition to his recent work in nonprofit membership and publishing, Duncan has consulted with firms as varied as Microsoft, Earthlink, BP/Arco, Federal Home Loan Bank, Starbucks, Mattel and Oakley. He served as President of the Orange County chapter of the AMA, and on the board of directors of the Southern California chapter of the MRA. He taught marketing at California State University, Fullerton, speaks fluent Russian, and holds degrees from the University of California, San Diego and the University of Glasgow, Scotland.

Bianca Philippi, Associate
Bianca Phillipi has served as an independent marketing research consultant with Olson Zaltman Associates of Boston, MA since 1999. She is especially skilled in conducting qualitative research to identify unspoken needs and wants of consumers. Bianca holds Ed .M degrees in Educational Leadership from UCLA and Non-Profit Management from Harvard, and graduated summa cum laude with a B. A. from Boston University with a double major in Art History and German Language and Literature. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and awarded Marshall Perrin, Waldo Peebles and Thomas Mann awards for outstanding academic achievement.

Nico Peruzzi, Ph.D., Associate
Dr. Peruzzi is an accomplished researcher with over a dozen years of experience managing and fulfilling research projects. Dr. Peruzzi has held marketing research and business development positions at communications, healthcare, Internet and research firms. He is now an independent research consultant, an Adjunct Professor of statistics at Pacific Graduate School in Palo Alto, CA, and a Consulting Editor for the peer-review journal Professional Psychology: Research and Practice. Clients with whom he has conducted research projects include: ALARIS Medical Systems (now Cardinal Health) Amgen, Blockbuster Entertainment, eBay, Herman Miller, IBM, META Group, Roche Bioscience, and Roper ASW, an NOP Company. Dr. Peruzzi has a BA in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara, graduating Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and Golden Key National Honor Society. He holds his MS and Ph.D. in Psychology from Pacific Graduate School.

Kay Lavish, Associate
Kay Lavish has worked in the research industry for 30 years, most recently as an independent analyst. She is co-founder of Discovery Research Group in Irvine, CA and spent more than a decade with the international firm Wirthlin Worldwide. Kay has conducted focus groups, mail and telephone surveys, in-home surveys and in-person interviewing. She has served as project director, field director, and consultant on all types of research projects — including insurance, deregulation, nonprofit, government, political, and institutional. Her clients have included the Public Policy Institute of California, the City of Irvine, United States Postal Service, Los Angeles Times, the Women in Philanthropy initiative at UCLA as well as several other UC and CSU campuses.
